Everybody's noticed the stellar Non Mandatory playlist right? (scroll down yidiot) It's so much better than Mary's!!! And all the other skullduggery I have been wasting my time on lately, as far as the layout goes- all been noticed I am sure, right?

Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's court. Rereading. Haven't had in years. Maybe a decade. (I'm old. There really are things that I haven't done in a decade or so now.) Anyhow, its good. I appreciate different parts now than I did when I was a kid. Still funny, but I never noticed the cutting poltical insights when I was a teenager.

Connect- icut. Why do we pronouce it the other way?

Speaking of old... Schmee- I recollect going around with my friend Chad to hand out pro-Bush stuff door to door during the first Bush election- seems like not that long ago. 9 years!! Old. Luckily, Im actually getting better looking- who thought it was even possible? And I jacked my bench weight up 10lbs today. Ran for a solid hour saturday, and part of that was up Mt. Olympus, where the rich people live... Its a heck of a view. Looking down-waaaay down-on the Hardee's sign that is like --well, really really high up, if you are standing right next to it. Didn't even pause.

Been a darn good life so far. Adventure. Good brains. Growth. Immense luck. Great friends, great clans. You know, you people who read this are mostly people I've been friends with for a long time. You're a killer bunch. Diverse, each with a unique set of talents and strengths. A very nice spread- a good hand. Good to have you all around.

No one's playlist is better than mine.

And I did notice the stuff. Actually, I like that your playlist is no longer mandatory, because that means that I don't have to pause it when I'm on your blog in order to enjoy my great music, which is still playing from my blog.

Wow, look at your waxing all poetic about your great life and great friends. I'm sure you'll make many new great friends in Pacific and wherever you guys go.

On a side note--There's actually a place near where you live called Mt. Olympus? Could they get anymore pretentious? I mean, "we live like the greek gods of old, la di da di da!" If there is such a place, if you did not just give it some bizarre nickname in your waxedness.

Man, I am a great friend, huh? Great person all around really. Consider yourself lucky to be counted amongst my followers!
I want a play list. I can't figure that stupid thing out...not that I have much time put into it or anything. I only spent hours upon hours, when I should have been cleaning, to collect he best and most perfect songs for my playlist...only to be thwarted when I attempted to put it on my blog. It only showed half the playlist and the rest was cut off the edge of the page. Me thinks the music still played tho. Maybe I'll leave it like that. who knows what I'll do, no one can tell me! Okay, it's late, i'm sorry...I will got to bed now.

Pie-seas, If you put your playlist at the bottom of your blog instead of on the side the whole box will show. You should be able to just click and drag it to the bottom of your blog from the "customize" area. Also, I don't think it hurts the playlist's ability to play even if it is cut off. Have you seen Renae's? It's cut off.

John, what time do you have your blog set for? It's 11:23 am EST. Freak-o. And you're right, I am an awesome friend. ;)

Too bad you are so dumb, John. Yes, I am pretty great to have around, but you...You are just such a dork. Nobody likes you. "You can't do anything right. I wish you were never born."

(Kidding obviously. John is my favorite of anybody on the planet, except for my own hubby and children, who must naturally come first. John is right exactly my first favorite after them!)

And I'm not even some dumb besotted female who just can't get over the fact that they are attracted to you. (Not that the rest of you blogger females are dumb.)

What are the odds that two kids as awesome as us would have ended up living on the very same block? Childhood would have been so incredibly boring with anyone else in that house.

(I'm talking to Renae, by the way.)

-My Playlist is Far superior to your puny efforts!

-No!I said Mt. Olympus only as a mere figure of speech!

-Indeed!

-I keep my blog on Mercurian Time!

-Indeed! I note how you put Bruce first only because you are required to by the foolish morays of society!

-That happens alot! I have grown used to it, however!

-You fool! You shall pay for your insolence!

Erik and I spent the evning watching old TMNT cartoons. I can't help but try to talk like the Shredder now!

The best line: the turtles dress up as pizza delivery guys in order to inflitrate the shredder's stronghold and save April. They ring the bell. The shredder's henchman peaks out the eyehole:

"It looks like 4 green pizza delivery guys, Master Shredder"

"What!?" shouts the Shredder "I don't remember ordering any pizzas!!"

Ugh, how can you STAND TMNT?! So mind boggelingly stupid! They are nearly as bad as Power Rangers!

Brad, childhood without you would have been a drag! Love you. (Even if I am only the annoying little sister you all tried so hard to get rid of.)

Do you have your hair desolver ready?

You'll never know that it's ready until it's too late!

Renae, you need to repent of your non embraceage of TMNT. They are way better than gay rangers!!

I find myself watching cartoons with Netflix much more than I do movies. For one I never saw them when I was a kid. for two, I dont hardly have the attention span needed to watch a whole movie. They are long and usually take themselves sooo seriously. I like that cartoons are not serious.

Didn't you come to Eastgate to watch TMNT during our grand opening back in 1990ish? I remember seeing you and your dad there, but only having time for a very quick hello.

Eyepoke said...

Think so...Think I remember that too. But my Dad? I dont think he and i ever went to see TMNT....?

Brad Carter said...

Maybe he came in and saw something else. Or maybe he just came in to wander around and see the new theater. They were letting everyone in free that day, so anyone could just come in and look around. I'm pretty sure he was there with you though. One of my few John Sever sightings over the past 20 years. They're so rare that I usually remember them.

I still think Mary's playlist is my favorite playlist of all time. I even played it at my New Year's Eve party because I think it is so eclectic it would appeal to almost anyone.
