Michael Crichton

Michael Crichton died. Age 66. Cancer.
(Author. Jurassic Park.)

Liked his stuff! He put the Sci back in Sci-Fi. Probably my favorite of his was The Great Train Robbery. I'm not attached to him like I was to Fred Saberhagen, but his was a one of a kind talent.

Anyhow, turns out he was a funny dude. You should check out this little thing I read about him. Should make you laugh.

He was funny! You know he invented the concept behind the TV show ER and wrote the pilot episode? I saw him interviewed on the Season 1 extras of ER. I loved those articles you had on here too!

This is really sad news! I love his books. I read the wiki article. I had no idea he was a doctor.

I love how his pen names were related to his height and how he compared rabid environmentalism to religion.
